CRM Project Management Assistance
Peritum provided project management assistance to the CRM Business Leader. We were called in mid-implementation to help drive the project to successful delivery, managing user expectations and scope changes. We crafted weekly project briefings to top executives, including risk mitigation strategies. We played key roles in systems migration and creating a new sales forecasting process. Peritum also created and managed the entire end-user CRM training program.

Business systems analysis
Peritum provided key business analysis supporting the existing sales compensation system, ensuring sales commission payments continued while the old system was migrated to the new CRM system. We helped certify sales and commissions data between the old and new systems. We led the effort to consolidate forecasting in the new CRM system, and wrote systems design and management report specifications. We worked with end-users to implement synchronization of the CRM system with MS Outlook.

Training Program Management
Peritum managed Kinko’s entire CRM training program, from start to finish, for hundreds of remote users across the USA. The complex program entailed delivering (simultaneously) CRM training, laptop software and hardware upgrades, transforming and migrating individual sales, customer and commissions data, and converting users to MS Outlook. Peritum created curriculum (tests, training databases, handouts), managed trainers, support staff and logistics and ensured the training program was delivered successfully.

       
 

CRM Project Advisors
We were retained by Nortel to assist with company-wide CRM implementation. By working with salespeople, focus groups and management, we helped draft a phased CRM roadmap. We helped Nortel though issues such as where to start, how to measure the success of the project, obtaining end-user buy-in, budgeting, functionality requirements, etc.

Chief Technical Architects
Peritum was retained by Nortel to be their Chief Technical Architect for their Universal Pricing System. We helped architect the base CRM datamodel to enable storage and configuration of Nortel’s entire product suite and pricing rules. Peritum wrote custom code that was layered on the AmdocsClarify product suite.

Product Configurator Designers
Peritum helped design and implement a new software product called “CommCenter” that was integrated into Nortel’s CRM system. CommCenter allows Nortel salespeople and select customers to build, configure, price and propose complex phone networks.

       
 
CRM Readiness Assessment
Peritum conducted a needs analysis and helped iDine determine the time, cost and resource required for successful CRM at their company. We assessed the project risks and articulated a mitigation plan. We crafted a business case with ROI metrics, developed a phased implementation plan and set budget expectations. The work segment provided greater clarity to Rewards Network and put them on sound footing to commence a successful CRM project.
       
 
CRM Solution Engineering & Delivery
Under a select sub-contracting arrangement, Peritum augmented Endo’s IT staff to solve business needs with technology solutions. We helped implement a pharma-specific CRM system and integrated call planning with IMS data. We also helped design, implement and maintain their incentive compensation system. Additionally, we developed custom reports specific to pharmaceutical sales management.

       
 
CRM Business Systems Analysis
Key staff from Peritum helped AstraZenca craft a CRM solution for their 450+ Ag Products sales force. We helped create a CRM strategy, gathered requirements, and evaluated leading CRM vendors and technology via hands-on workshops. We worked closely with the selected CRM vendor with customizations and system deployment, including rolling out new laptops for all users. We played a key role in designing, selecting and implementing an integrated remote data synchronization solution, allowing users un-tethered access to the CRM system.

CRM integration with remote data synchronization tool
AstraZeneca’s unique requirements meant that commercially-available CRM applications did not meet their needs and a best-of-breed solution was needed. In conjunction with helping select a CRM framework, we evaluated, customized and integrated a remote data synchronization tool. From designing two-way synch rules to exhaustive testing, we helped Astra-Zenca ensure data integrity between the central and remote databases.

CRM integration with reporting tool
Peritum helped AstraZeneca implement and integrate the Brio reporting tool into their CRM solution. Seamless reporting was provided at the management and end-user / salesrep levels, allowing all users to mine data for actionable revenue-generating activities.

       
 
Competitive Differentiation
We were retained by Clarify to them compete against other CRM players, such as Siebel, SAP, and PeopleSoft. Through our knowledge of the CRM space, we were able to help Clarify articulate a competitive value proposition and propose new software enhancements to win new deals.

Sales Strategy and Assistance
Peritum staff accompanied Clarify’s sales teams to help win CRM deals. We helped Clarify evolve from a “call center” company to a full-fledged CRM company that provided solutions in sales, marketing and service. Clarify and their prospects found our “thought leadership” and extensive CRM experience beneficial in educating them on the latest CRM trends as well as helping set (or reset) expectations for a successful project and customer reference sites.

ClearSales Product Improvements
Peritum worked closely with Clarify’s ClearSales development team to design and enhance product functionality. From User Interface design to workflow ideas, Peritum helped Clarify significantly improve the usability of ClearSales. We also helped facilitate new partnerships with e-marketing, reporting and data warehousing vendors.

Internal Implementation
Peritum also helped Clarify deliver their internal implementation to over 100 end-users. We customized the ClearSales application and accompanying reports for forecasting and opportunity management. We wrote additional functionality modules that integrated with ClearSales to provide unique functionality. These modules were later incorporated into the base product.
